Dois ponto Um

Went and saw the Swell Season last night (Tuesday) and was absolutely blown away by the music, the stories, the place, and the company.

I had bought the tickets to the concert a few months ago. I actually bought them in a spur of the moment thing when I was out to lunch one day. For the heck of it I went ahead and bought 2 tickets even though I didn't have any one in particular to go to the concert with. Up until Monday I still hadn't gotten around to asking anyone to go to the show with me. Luckly I finally got around to asking a girl I recently met through a friend and luckly she wasn't busy Tuesday night.

For those of you that know me you know I'm pretty picky about who I take to concerts/movies/plays with me. I'm picky because I'm easily annoyed by people who make me feel like they're doing me a favor by coming along to an event. Which is why I almost always either take someone who I know before hand will enjoy the event, or I take someone who's the bubbly always positive type. The girl I took to the Swell Season concert definitely fell into the latter category, but I had a hunch she would also really enjoy the show and before the night was over would be a fan of the band. All I can say about my company last night is that I enjoyed the show more than I would have if she had not been there with me.

The point of this post is that if you have a chance to see the Swell Season life you should definitely take it.
