Parents came, saw, and left. The Aquarium is cheesly decorated but has really nice displays. And they charge you to be a volunteer, WTF???

My computer is dying a slow death, I think. Either I'm having randomly occuring hardware failure or I accidentally deleted some files I should not have last week. Ne result is inability to load Windows. I've been holding out on formating my HD in the hopes that I can get the computer semi working and somehow save some of my picks that are out there. I will make a decision on formating monday night after work.

Work sucks... I'm not thrilled with the new VP of HR, my boss is getting more and more annoying and her lack of vision is making my work harder and less interesting. I'm seriously contemplating quitting, even though I don't have any fall back employment options. My deadline on that decision is October 24th. Why October 24th?

I'm going to NYC the weekend before. I hope to use that time for taking a mental break, meeting friends, and of course hobbling around the big apple for the first time.

I'll be hobbling that weekend because I have once again injured my ankle. Yes, I was playing ultimate, no I wasn't wearing my ankle brace. It's not broken, it is very swollen, and I've likely stretched and possibly torn(microtears) some things down there. I should take Monday off and go see the doc, but most likely won't make it due to workload.

I'm physically and mentally beat up and need to regroup. I blame it all on the weather. The summer is definitely over and now it's starting to get chilly in the evenings here in Atlanta. Another 2 months of this and I'll say "f*** it all" and head down to Brasil for the summer. Can't argue with that...
